stoutrow - rise of space

about the rise of space

this page explains everything about the game, how it started, what it is now, and where it might go in the future.

what is this game?

The Rise of Space is a sandbox space exploration game that is still in development. The idea is simple: you can fly around space, explore planets, and mess around in a big open world.

There is no final version yet. It is being built piece by piece, and it keeps changing as new ideas come up.

how it started

It started as a small idea in Unity. First there was just a player that could move around, and that was it.

Then a ship was added. Then flying controls. Then everything started becoming a space game instead of just a test.

Nothing was planned perfectly — it just slowly grew.

who is making it?

The game is being made by me, my cousin, and my friend. We all add ideas, test things, and sometimes break everything by accident.

It is not a big studio. It is just a small team building something for fun and seeing where it goes.

how it works (so far)

The game uses Unity. We are building systems like movement, flying, and planets.

One of the main systems is procedural planet generation using Perlin noise. That means the planets are generated automatically instead of being manually built.

the problems

Not everything works properly yet. For example, the ship rotation system sometimes goes crazy and flies away.

Bugs happen a lot, but they are part of the process.

what it might become

The goal is to make a fun space exploration game where players can just exist in space and explore.

It might grow into something bigger over time, or it might stay small and experimental. Either way, it will keep evolving.

final note

this game is not finished. it is still being built, changed, and improved constantly.

come back later — it will probably be different.
